On April 10, we’re repeating the All-American fun we had last year in Nashville. Our 2nd annual CBC Honkytonk Bash takes place at downtown Denver’s legendary Clocktower Cabaret and features the area’s best true-grit country/Americana acts, craft beer and beery hijinks. Local-hero musical guests include the Cowboy Dave Band, Leslie Tom, Larry Nix and Marty Jones.
Admission and top-shelf local beers are all free with a CBC badge. The night is co-sponsored by Cask Global Canning Solutions, Portland Kettle Works, Chiller Tron and Brewery Mediation Network. Beers and brewery support are from Bierstadt Lagerhaus, Bent Barley, Comrade, Crooked Stave, Dry Dock and Tivoli. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show runs 8-10:30 or so. Note: There will be no Florida Georgia Line, Taylor Swift or Rascal Flats songs performed at this event. There will be plenty of Hank, Loretta, Merle and Johnny, and like-minded original material from the all-star lineup.
Need more beery fun? On April 9 from 6 p.m. to midnight, we’re co-sponsoring Lagerhard CBC at Denver’s famed bottom-fermented epicenter, Bierstadt Lagerhaus. Admission is free with a CBC badge and the night features complimentary pours of Bierstadt’s exceptional German-style lagers and a special “collabieration” offering crafted with Eric Toft of the famed Schonramer Brewery. There will also be free food, live music, and all of the beer-industry gemütlichkeit you can handle. Lederhosen are welcome at this special CBC event, but not required.
